Christmas Fair: The annual Silvermine Village Christmas Fair will take place on Friday, October 31, from 8am to 12pm at 58 Silvermine Road, Noordhoek. Proceeds will be shared between the Staff Education Fund and the Benevolent Trust. For more information, contact Sheena Hutchings on 073 255 8111.
Market: The Marina Craft and Food Market will be held at the San Marina Recreational Hall on Saturday, November 1, from 10am to 2pm.
Fund-raising dinner: Hands4Change Outreach Projects will host its final fund-raising dinner on Friday, October 31, from 6pm, at The Galley in Fish Hoek. The evening will celebrate the group’s work in creating safe spaces for children in the Valley, with a three-course meal, live music by Stuart Badham-Thornhill, dancing, and a raffle. FynbosLIFE Fair: Muizenberg-based non-profit, FynbosLIFE, will host its annual FynbosLIFE Fair on Sunday, November 2, from 10am to 4pm at Zandvlei Lookout. Visitors can browse more than 60 stands featuring fynbos and nature-conservation groups, local fynbos artisans, and interactive educational veld circles.
