Inga Chinnery, Simon’s Town
While enjoying a cup of coffee in one of Simon's Town's street cafés I learned that several restaurants/cafés there have formed an initiative to collect all their kitchen waste, which is then taken to a farm nearby as feed for animals. The monthly waste amount runs into tons.
I think one should make known all those involved and hopefully encourage other restaurants and big organisations to join in.
