Earthworks for the Sun Valley Eco Watch’s Hangklip Sand Fynbos Circle Garden began on Friday July 12 on the Sun Valley Common. The environmental conservation organisation partnered with FynbosLIFE, a non-profit, the Rowland and Leta Hill Trust and the Fish Hoek Valley Ratepayers’ and Residents’ Association. “We would like to thank our funders and all those involved for their hard work in making this initiative come to fruition. Work will continue next week as weather permits, and we will be holding a community planting event for the circle garden in a few weeks,” said the organisation’s Dr Zoë Poulsen.
