Constantiaberg Theatre Players is staging the hilarious antics of Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone in Absolutely Fabulous Onstage, on at the Masque Theatre, from Friday November 23.
Leading the cast are Bernie Jacobs as Eddy and Julie Summers as Patsy. Neither is a stranger to Masque audiences. Jacobs directed Playing with Fire (2018) and Equus (2017). Summers was last seen on the Masque stage in The Extraordinary Revelations of Orca the Goldfish (2016).
Faeron Wheeler directs. This is the second time Wheeler has directed a play at the theatre, her first being Silly Cow (2016). Wheeler and is also responsible for the script adaptation for Ab Fab. She selected four separate episodes and wove them together to form a storyline for this stage tribute.
The production runs until Saturday, December 1, excluding Sunday to Tuesday. The production carries a PG13 warning.
