Shannon Devy and Evan Strauss of the band Lo-Ghost.

The Alliance Française du Cap and Cape Town Music Academy present the Lo-Ghost duo on Friday June 17 at the Alliance Française du Cape, 155 Loop Street, at 7pm.

Composed of musicians and producers Shannon Devy and Evan Strauss, Lo-Ghost released their first EP, Mother in 2006.

Their work is characterised by a fearless, emotive handling of difficult aspects of the human condition, from the queer experience to grief and loneliness.

In 2019, Lo-ghost released their second album, Cult Pop, which was awarded the SAMA for Best Alternative Music Album at the 2020 South African Music Awards.

Tickets cost from R60. Book through Quicket.
