Classical music concert

Jeffrey Armstrong on violin, Lynn Rudolph on viola and Nicola Mclachlan on cello will perform at the third concert series of the Cape Chamber Music Collective (CCMC).

The programme offers an energetic first half consisting of Beethoven’s String Trio, Op. 9 no. 3 and Ernst von Dohnányi’s rarely-performed Serenade in C major, Op. 10, with selections of the well-known Goldberg Variations (arranged for strings trio by Sitkovetsky), providing a conclusion to the programme.

The shows are on:

• Saturday March 12, at 6 Spin Street in the Cape Town city centre, at 4pm and 7.30pm. Tickets for the afternoon concert are R150, including a glass of wine. The 7.30pm concert features canapés during the intermission with tickets at R220.

• Monday March 14 at the Music Hall of the Springfield Convent School, St Johns Road, Wynberg, at 6pm. Tickets are R160 and R80 for students.
