Jeffery Armstrong, who is back in Cape Town to perform with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, has a varied career in Europe performing as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player.
Violinist Jeffery Armstrong will perform Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G minor K478 and Fauré’s Piano Quartet No. 1 in C minor Op.15 at Cape Chamber Music Collective (CCMC) concerts across the city.
He will be joined by chamber musicians, François du Toit, Petrus Coetzee and Graham du Plessis.
Armstrong is currently studying for a soloists diploma at the Hochschule for Music, Theatre and Media in Germany. Recent highlights are being appointed as an academist with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and recording three unpublished duos by York Bowen for violin and viola with Yue Yu under the Naxos label. Jeffrey is also a director of the Cape Chamber Music Collective.
