■ Chantal Stanfield’s comedy From Koe’siestes to Kneidlach will be staged at the Baxter Golden Arrow Studio. This one-woman “kosher comedy”, which is also penned by Stanfield, is directed by Megan Furniss. The story of what happens when a girl from the Cape Flats gets involved with a Jewish boy from Joburg’s East Rand raises all sorts of questions and awkward situations for the young bride-to-be. You can celebrate the transition into 2018 by booking for the show with the Baxter’s New Year’s Eve party, in the foyer after the performance on Sunday December 31. The show will start at 10pm on the night, and the ticket price includes entry to the party. The other performances are at 8.15pm, from Tuesdays to Saturday with a matinee on Saturday December 23, at 4.30pm. Tickets, available through Computicket, are R100 to R140 and R250 for the New Year’s Eve show. Contact Sharon Ward on 021 680 3962 or email sharon.ward@uct.ac.za for details.
