Anyone living in or visiting the Glencairn area shouldn’t miss the Glencairn Community Market, held on the last Saturday of each month from 9am to 2pm (weather-permitting) at 75 Glen Road, Glencairn.
Founded by residents Dane Cherry and Malinda Coetzee, the market is now celebrating its fifth year. This popular event gives local traders and crafters the chance to sell their wares while offering a fun outing for the whole family. With up to 32 traders, visitors can browse a variety of handmade goods, crafts, gifts, food, and baked treats.
The charming Cilla’s Tea Garden operates alongside the market and has become a favourite family spot for scones and cake, says organiser Malinda Coetzee.
According to Seeff branch manager Anton Liebenberg, the market is a community highlight that enhances Glencairn’s lifestyle.

Seeff Properties has a strong presence in the False Bay area and proudly supports the event by providing marketing materials such as flyers. Seeff also hosts a stand at the market, sharing information about local properties and the latest real estate trends. For market enquiries, contact Malinda on 076 541 5887.
In last week's advertorial, it was incorrectly stated that the market has a cash bar, live music, and a children's play area.
