An unexpected power outage and the cost-of-living crunch did not dampen eight months of organising and the hard work put in to organise a Glencairn Neighbourhood Watch high-tea event on Saturday May 21, at the Simon’s Town Hall.
The happy and relaxed event included best-hat prize, an auction and raffle prizes. Additionally, there was a prize for the best-decorated table and two prizes per table – not to mention a fabulous tea with the most delectable spread of refreshments.
A big thank you to all concerned. I feel privileged and proud to be a Glencairn community member.
