Tokara celebrates 25 years of wine tourism excellence in Stellenbosch

Tokara, a family-owned estate on the Stellenbosch Wine Route, is celebrating 25 years of offering some of South Africa’s best wines, food, and breathtaking views.

Founded by GT and Anne-Marie Ferreira, Tokara has grown into a renowned winery and a symbol of the Ferreira family’s dedication to winemaking.

Tokara offers an inviting wine tasting experience where visitors can sample a variety of wines, including crisp Sauvignon Blancs from Elgin and full-bodied reds from Simonsberg. In addition to wines, Tokara’s award-winning olive oils are also a highlight, with flavours ranging from light and fruity to rich and peppery.

The Restaurant at Tokara, led by chef Carolize Coetzee, features dishes inspired by local produce. The menu focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients – much of it sourced from Tokara’s own farm.
