Since her journey began in 2020 during the early days of the pandemic, Naidu has evolved organically from a parenting blogger into a beloved voice that celebrates South African Indian culture through food.

“Becoming a mom for the first time opened my eyes to the realities of motherhood,” Naidu shares.

“I wanted to articulate a raw and real perspective, sharing my experiences and connecting with other moms. Then, as Covid-19 unfolded, I found myself gravitating towards something that felt both safe and personal - food content.”

Her passion for South African Indian cuisine became the cornerstone of her online presence, allowing her not only to showcase cherished family recipes but also to preserve her heritage for her children.

The blend of personal storytelling and culinary artistry has made Naidu a standout influencer.

“Being able to reach people from all walks of life and adding value through my content is one of the greatest rewards,” she states.

“People form their perceptions based on snippets of your life, leading to criticisms that can at times feel unwarranted.”

“When I made that transition, I realised there was a longing for meals that provide comfort and nostalgia,” Naidu recalls.

“My page became a haven for many, reminding them of simpler times and the emotional connections tied to food.”

This evolution sparked a newfound purpose, reaching a wider audience while providing a soothing, comforting narrative amid turbulent global times.

“My journey with smaller brands has been incredibly fulfilling,” she notes, underscoring the importance of exclusivity and authenticity in her partnerships.

Looking ahead, Naidu is poised to expand her influence even further, transitioning from a part-time passion to a dedicated career.

“I feel more confident than ever in my role as a content creator, and I’m excited to diversify my portfolio with long-term projects,” she reveals, enticing followers with hints of what’s to come.

“My audience will definitely benefit from these upcoming ventures, and I can't wait to share that with them.”
