As we eagerly count down to our upcoming Galentine's event on February 27th, we're taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane to our inaugural Galentine's celebration, which was beautifully hosted at the luxurious Diane-Paris showroom in Johannesburg, a night that marked the beginning of a special tradition.
Looking back on our inaugural Galentine's event, it's clear that it was a night to remember. Our glamorous guests, VIPs, and attendees are still raving about the unforgettable evening, which featured a stunning fashion show, curated by the talented Diane Paris. The runway came alive with models showcasing the brand's exquisite ready-to-wear collection, infused with a touch of Parisian chic.
The highlight of the evening was a fascinating Q&A session between GLAMOUR's Editor-In-Chief, Nontando Mposo, and Diana Pengilly, Founder of Diane-Paris. The discussion delved into the inspiration behind Diane-Paris' collections, which are influenced by her global travels and feature carefully curated pieces sourced from Paris and beyond.
Another major moment from the evening was the unveiling of Yaya Mavundla's GLAMOUR Digital cover, which commemorated the launch of Durex's "Durex Invisible" campaign. Yaya and Simphiwe Hlophe, Durex's acting brand manager, engaged in a thought-provoking Q&A with Nontando, shedding light on their partnership and the essence of the campaign.
