Reaping rewards

Staff Reporter|Published

Seven months after planting more than 1 000 Watsonia bulbs as part of the Harvest Festival at Imhoff Waldorf School, pupils have reaped the rewards of their hard work. The bulbs were donated by a parent in March and each primary school pupil planted 10 bulbs and took four home. The flowerbeds were nurtured during the winter by the school’s gardener, Lulamile Dayeni, and are now covered in a blanket of orange.
