The traffic circle at the end of Main Road in Fish Hoek is being resurfaced, and a detour has been put in place.
There is a detour at the traffic circle, where Main and Kommetjie roads meet, in Fish Hoek, from today, Wednesday April 6, to accommodate roadworks.
In a statement, the City said the detour, which is needed while the traffic circle is resurfaced, would affect traffic flow and commuting times. Commuters are advised to avoid travelling to Simon’s Town through Fish Hoek and to use alternative routes where possible.
The detour will be in place today, from 9am to 4pm, until Friday April 8, and might be extended, depending on the weather.
