A Cape Town company has donated 3 500 pairs of socks to children in Masiphumelele. As part of its sock drive, the company visited Ukhanyo Primary School, pictured, on Monday October 30, and later on the same day, Masiphumelele High School, where every pupil received a pair of grey or white school socks. The company’s founder, Dave Hutchison, said:"The Springboks have shown us what can be achieved when we unite and all work towards a common goal. We all have a role to play in making our country a better place. Our message to the schoolchildren who receive the socks is simple: pay it forward – every time you put on your socks, think about one thing you can do today that will make your community a better place. Each small step towards a better society takes us one step closer to the change that we all want to see in South Africa."
