More than 70 firefighters brought a blaze on Peers Hill in the the Table Mountain National Park under control by 2am on Monday after it broke out on Sunday evening. “The dedicated teams worked tirelessly in steep and sandy terrain, demonstrating immense bravery to bring the situation under control,” said Justin Buchmann, the integrated fire manager for Table Mountain National Park.
