Living Hope, a faith-based non-profit’s community response team has handed out almost 3000 emergency flood kits to Red Hill, Masiphumelele and other communities swamped by heavy rains in recent weeks. Living Hope’s executive director, Victor Thomas, said the kits include blankets, hygiene packs and an emergency stew pack and offer residents a way to keep their belongings dry. Pictured are Masiphumelele residents queueing for the kits.
