A non-profit company in Wynberg is encouraging the community to join their mission of feeding and empowering the community.
Founder Maahier Karriem said InFarmer was established during the Covid-19 lockdown.
They support 42 soup kitchens in the province including in Parkwood, Seawinds, Capricorn, Retreat, Steenberg, Pelican Park and Lotus River. They also serve various orphanages, schools, old age homes and other NPOs.
“We also teach these kitchens various skills for self sustainability and run youth programmes to encourage our youth to get involved by assisting with the cooking and feeding during school holidays.”
