Korean Day Festival

The 14th annual Korean Day Festival, which celebrates the culture and cuisine of South Korea, took place on Saturday at Groote Schuur High School’s sports field. Organised by the Korean Association of Cape Town, the festival is held on the Korean holiday of Chuseok. Stalls offered authentic Korean dishes such as kimchi, kimbap and tteokbokki. There were also traditional games and entertainment. Pictured is South Korean ambassador Donghan Yang.
