Bloody Parchment, the literary component of the annual SA Horrorfest Film Festival and Halloween event, were devilishly delighted to host an array of local authors at Exclusive Books Cavendish on Thursday October 31.

Organiser of the event, Nerine Dorman of Glencairn.

The line-up of authors who specialise in the mysterious and macabre included Diane Awerbuck, Masha du Toit, Nerine Dorman, Vanessa Buys, Tanya Meeson, Sam Wilson, Brett Bruton, Alex Latimer, Toby Bennett and Jon Keevy. Each author read from their original works followed by book prizes for the best dressed ghouls, ghosties and gremlins.

Claremont author of seven books, Brett Bruton's most popular novel is Suspended In Dusk.
