Petunia Primary School, in Scottsville, Kraaifontein, received a donation of 20 iPads from the Cheslin Kolbe Foundation, iSchoolAfrica Education Trust and a private company on Friday December 6.

School principal Faizal Yon said he believed the devices would help to spark a love of maths at the school, adding, “I see a definite improvement in our school's results.”

The iPads would help with the teaching of maths for classes from Grade R to Grade 3, he said.

In a statement on Facebook, the Cheslin Kolbe Foundation said: “We cannot wait to see the growth, inspiration and engagement in learning that will come from this.”
