The City has warned of water-supply disruptions in parts of Kommetjie and Glencairn tomorrow, Tuesday January 21, due to planned maintenance. Residents are advised to store enough water in advance. In Kommetjie, the water will be shut off from 8am to 5pm while a maintenance team installs control valves on the water-supply network at the intersections of Huskisson Way and Erica Road and Huskisson Way and Crassula Road. Van Imhoff Way; Erica, Dreyer, Lighthouse and Aloe roads; and Protea, Disa, Nerina and Clan Monroe avenues will be affected. In Glencairn, the water will be shut off from 8am to 6pm for the completion of construction work on the main water supply to the area.
