Over 30 senior peer educators in Grade 10 at Hector Peterson Secondary School, in Wallacene, raised awareness about health issues on Thursday February 27.
As pupils arrived at school, they were greeted by peer educators holding posters that informed them about health issues ranging from a clean environment to personal hygiene, and various diseases. The peers educators belong to the Gold-Youth Development Agency, a non-profit organisation that trains youngsters to be good role models who help their peers and uplift their communities.
