Investigation launched after four men shot dead in Muizenberg

Police have launched an investigation following the deaths of four men in Overcome Heights, Muizenberg, in the early hours of Wednesday, August 13.

According to provincial police spokesman Colonel Andrè Traut, the bodies of the men, aged between 20 and 37, were found at about 5.30am in Mountain Road.

Each had suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

Detectives from the Anti-Gang Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. While gangsterism has not been ruled out as a possible motive, police are pursuing all lines of enquiry.
