Vote for Cape Town to win the Travel and Leisure India and South Asia’s best awards 2025

Cape Town needs your vote to be the best international destination in the Travel and Leisure India and South Asia’s Best Awards 2025.

This year’s awards, themed "Art of Discovery," celebrate places that inspire exploration and connection.

Cape Town was nominated alongside cities including Queensland's Cairns, Portugal's Lisbon, Western Australia's Perth, Saudi Arabia's Riyadh, USA's San Francisco, Georgia's Tbilisi, and Japan's Tokyo.

Briony Brookes, Cape Town Tourism's chief marketing officer, said that the nomination proves the city’s global standing.

“Cape Town is back in the global spotlight, and it’s time to make some noise. The awards recognise places that inspire discovery and connection, and Cape Town’s nomination once again proves that our city’s beauty, energy, and international appeal are unmatched," she said.

Ms Brookes said it was now up to residents of Cape Town and everyone who loves the city to help win this award. The awards are entirely audience-led, with travelers voting for their favourite experiences over two months.
