The Joyce Chevalier Centre, a non-profit organisation that provides a protective work environment for adults with disabilities in Fish Hoek, hosted its annual Big Walk on Tuesday, October 14.
The event brought together clients, learners, sponsors, and community members for a morning of fitness and fun along Fish Hoek Beach.
Around 40 walkers from the centre took part, setting off from the restaurant side of the beach and turning around about a kilometre down towards Clovelly.
Violet Rupare from the Joyce Chevalier Centre proudly completed 10 kilometres during the centre’s annual Big Walk on Fish Hoek Beach.

While some completed an impressive 12 kilometres, others opted for shorter distances to suit their pace.
The Joyce Chevalier Centre extended its thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors, and corporate partners who made the event possible.
