The SboNdaba Dance crew is set to perform at Maynardville Park, Wynberg, and Long March to Freedom, Century City, later this month.
The SboNdaba Dance is a non-profit dance academy based in Observatory that is led by acclaimed dancer and choreographer Sbonakaliso Ndaba from Southfield.
Ms Ndaba was recently honoured as the JOMBA! 2025 Legacy Artist in September.
Their upcoming Dancing with Nature 2025 – Seeds of Peace performance is an outdoor performance series featuring the SboNdaba Dance academy together with their dynamic outreach groups from Khayelitsha, Elsies River, Gugulethu, and Philippi. Expect fun, energy, and powerful artistry that connects us all through movement.
The SboNdaba Dance Academy is made up of 15 talented youth dancers from Cape Town’s townships, embodying the spirit of creativity, resilience, and hope.
The public is welcome to see the SboNdaba Dance in action at Maynardville, Wynberg on Sunday, November 23, from 2pm for a free concert.
Then they can be seen again on Saturday, November 29, at the Long March to Freedom exhibition, at Century City, from 2pm, where there will be a R20 cover charge.
