The Fish Hoek Scribblers writers’ group held its Open Mic celebration on Thursday, November 20, with twelve members and two guests sharing poems and stories.
The afternoon delivered plenty of laughs, a few tears and some tense moments as writers showcased their work.
The group also announced its Scribbler of the Year for 2025, awarding the trophy to Andrew Turner of Hout Bay. Mr Turner was recognised not only for his strong writing, but also for his consistent commitment to the group.
