On Monday, December 8, the Clovelly Monday Seniors Golf Group held its annual fundraising and awards dinner, celebrating another year of community support.

Thanks to the generosity of loyal sponsors, including Brass Bell Restaurant, Dixies Restaurant, Golden River Spur, Fish Hoek Auto Centre, and Valley Roast Coffee, the club was able to present R90 000 raised through competition fees and donations to a range of local beneficiaries.

The funds will support initiatives across the greater Fish Hoek Valley, including the Joyce Chevalier Adult Education Centre, Fish Hoek Mobile Meals (formerly Meals on Wheels), FOSNA (Friends of Silvermine Nature Area), Fish Hoek Nippers Surf Life Saving Club, Clovelly Junior Golf, the Volunteer Firefighters Services, Victory Kids, and St Francis Outreach.
