Kleinberg Primary School in Ocean View held its annual Grade 7 Valedictory ceremony at the Ocean View High School Hall on Monday, December 8.
The event celebrated the hard work and achievements of the Grade 7 learners as they prepare to move on to high school.
Learners were recognised for their academic performance, with certificates awarded to the top three learners in all subjects. The top three learners in each Grade 7 class also received certificates and medals.

Special recognition was given to the top three learners overall in Grade 7, who were awarded certificates and medals, while the top Grade 7 learner received a keepsake trophy.
Principal Denzil van Graan congratulated all the award recipients on their achievements. He thanked parents for their continued support throughout their children’s educational journey and wished the Grade 7 learners well as they begin their high school careers.

Mr Van Graan encouraged learners to stay focused on their schoolwork and to take part in sport, extra-mural and cultural activities at high school to support their overall development.
He also thanked the Grade 7 teachers, as well as all teachers who had taught the learners since Grade 1, for their dedication and commitment.
