Fish Hoek police are investigating a case of armed robbery after four men entered a property in Crofters Valley, Noordhoek, on Monday, January 12, at about 10am.
Fish Hoek police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Peter Middleton, said the suspects, who were armed with a firearm, entered the premises and held two workers at gunpoint, while they ransacked the property and stole electronic equipment and jewellery of an undisclosed value.
“The suspects threatened the staff, but they were not injured during the incident,” he said, adding that the suspects fled the scene in the same vehicle they had arrived in.
A community safety notice issued on social media after the incident urged residents to report the following to police, neighbourhood watches, or community groups:
• Unknown individuals loitering or behaving unusually
• Vehicles repeatedly driving slowly through the area
• Open gates, tampered fences, or disturbed property
• Delivery interactions that feel “off”
• Any noise or activity that seems out of place for the time of day

• Time and location
• Description of people or vehicles
• Direction of travel
• Any photos or footage if safely available
