Anyone can talk a good game about caring.
dotsure.co.za would rather roll up their sleeves and show it. For them, wholehearted pet insurance isn’t a catchy line – it’s a promise they live by.
A long-term commitment to pets, their people, and the generous-spirited professionals who hold it all together. Over the last year, that promise found its feet in real action, with more than R1.7 million channelled into causes that protect, heal, and help communities thrive.
Wholehearted pet insurers: Care that goes beyond claims to Soft Landings
Insurance usually shows up once the damage is done. dotsure.co.za believes real care begins long before that moment. That’s why they’ve invested heavily in preventative and proactive support - from sterilisation drives to vet bill assistance - helping reduce suffering before the crisis, before the heartbreak.
Their work with Garden Route SPCA in Mossel Bay alone resulted in 222 sterilised pets, closing the door on future abandonment and opening the way to healthier, more secure lives. Through their vet cause-related initiatives, they stepped in when pet parents couldn’t. Over 64 vet practices across South Africa received funding support, ensuring pets received life-changing procedures despite financial strain.
That’s what providing Soft Landings is all about.

Standing with the organisations that change lives
Over the past year, dotsure.co.za’s ongoing partnerships with organisations like the SA Guide-Dogs Association and the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) continue to be rooted in a commitment to achieving long-term impact. Not band-aid solutions, but care that heals at the root.
•In 2025, R700 000 was contributed toward guide dog training and veterinary care, helping assistance dogs-in-training stay healthy, steady, and ready to lead the way.
• A further R100 000 sponsorship will ensure that another guide dog puppy can take its first steps on the path to service later this year.
• R450,000 was donated to the AACL, supporting the rescue, rehabilitation, and protection of furry friends and the big-hearted veterinarians who treat them.
These aren’t just figures on a page. They’re sight-safeguarded, suffering eased, and second chances placed gently back into loving hands.

Caring for the carers
Vets carry more than stethoscopes. They carry worry, hope, and heartbreak, day after day. They are among the most compassionate people you’ll meet, and too often, the most emotionally stretched.
Through the WeLoveVets Programme, dotsure.co.za acknowledges something the industry doesn’t talk about enough: compassion fatigue.
By standing behind veterinary professionals’ mental well-being,dotsure.co.za is helping refill the well, so vets can keep showing up with steady hands and open hearts. Care that reaches further and why it mattersPets are part of our families and communities.
Subsequently, their care networks rely on joining forces to sustain quality of life for us all. That’s why dotsure.co.za goes beyond insurance. They show up where it counts by leading with heart. From supporting women-led microbusinesses, to standing behind local cancer support initiatives, dotsure.co.za’s wholehearted care extends beyond pets.
Their ongoing Soft Landings food packing initiative helped provide over 2.4 million meals in 2025, and the picture becomes clear: this is what wholehearted compassion looks like.
