Ten Kleinberg Primary School athletes have qualified for the Metropole South Education District Athletics Championships.

Ten athletes from Kleinberg Primary School have earned spots at the Metropole South Education District (MSED) Athletics Championships.
They qualified following strong performances at the Deep South Inter-School Athletics, held at Fish Hoek Primary School on Saturday, February 14.
The district championships will take place on Saturday, February 21, at Blue Downs Athletics Stadium.
The qualifiers are Ariana Layters (Girls U/12 100m), Wyatt Apollis (Boys U/13 100m and shot put), Clivia Swartz (Girls U/13 javelin), Noah van Nel (Boys U/12 shot put), Kensley Cotton (Girls U/11 high jump), Bryan Moya (Boys U/13 javelin), Prince Mhango (Boys U/13 200m hurdles), Zahra Walker (Girls U/10 high jump), Lubonke Masza (Boys U/10 high jump) and Robyn-Lee Robyn (Girls U/10 shot put).
Principal Denzil van Graan praised the team’s efforts, saying, “Congratulations to our athletes for their superb performances thus far. I wish them well for the MSED District Championships. A word of thanks as well to our coaches, managers and supporters for their continued dedication and encouragement.”
