Barbara Nakan, Muizenberg
Cape Town is the Mother City
To you I dedicate this ditty
Spectacular panoramic drives
One can look forward to when you arrive
But woe-is-me another side
As an octagonerian I cannot hide
A rather undignified pastime for me
Is hugging buckets of water you see
It’s really not all doom-and-gloom
Physiotherapists are having a boom
So fellow Capetonians take up the fight
If we old ones can do it
The young ones might!
