The Deep South Lions Club held a community food project in Red Hill on Saturday, September 4. Lions district governor Aidan Ewers joined the club for the day as it handed out maize, rice, soup mix, samp and beans, and soya products to 100 families. Club president Rory Stier said the food handed out to the families would feed some 500 people.
