Friends of the Silvermine Nature Area (FOSNA) had a community work party on Saturday, March 18, in the Lower Silvermine Wetland Area. Fifteen community members got involved in securing the bridge planks, cleaning signage and replacing old signage, path clearing and trimming back hedges, as well as alien clearing. Pictured are Bruce Snaddon, Dave Balfour, and Dave Chambers, in the far back, securing loose bridge planks with stainless steel screws. The next quarterly work party will be held in June.
