The City will be shutting off the water supply to Ocean View on Tuesday, December 6, from 8am until 4pm.
Acting mayoral committee member for water and sanitation Siseko Mbandezi said this would enable the safe completion of construction work on the main water supply to the area. The water supply to areas of Ocean View east of Milky Way will be disrupted.
The work involves the isolation of the old water pipeline along Milky Way.
Residents should store water for domestic use during this period and keep taps closed to avoid water loss and property damage when the supply was restored, said the City.
