Lilian Ralton, False Bay Hospital board fund-raiser
On behalf of the False Bay Hospital board members, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to every single person who made our very successful Hawaiian fund-raising evening last year on September 27, such a success.
Special thanks to Pick n Pay Fish Hoek; Wakefords; Tafelberg Furnitures Tokai; Tokai Mercedes Benz; Cape Point Wineries; Jacka Private Winery; Shorties Sun Valley; Anonymous Coffee shop in Muizenberg; Keenan Rennie at Clovelly Golf Club; False Bay Echo for discounting our ads; and Anthony and Juliette Burgess for their very generous monetary donation. We are so grateful.
Tygue and Nicky Townsend for free music and decor; Simone Muller for designing posters and tickets; Lee Faulkner for the most tickets sold, and all the board members; hospital staff for their support, and a special thanks to Irene Butterworth, Sheryl Hightree and Marion Thomas.
Perhaps a formal (Langarm) ball later in the year may spring to mind. Any ideas are welcome.
