Game week four concludes at Kasi Invitational Games

Gugulethu Hustlers beat Delft’s Umoja Basketball Club by 54-48 in an exciting Kasi Invitational Game, at the Gugulethu sports complex, on Sunday, February 16.

Hustlers and Umoja concluded a day of good basketball after six matches were played at the sports complex.

At noon, Crossroads opened proceedings with a 23-49 defeat to Langa Basketball Club men’s team.

Gladiators played to a 40-40 draw against Gladiators second team.

Unity beat Mbekweni Shaq Squad’s men’s side by 52-30. An hour after this entertaining match, Shaq Squad’s female team won by 33-22 against Khayelitsha Basketball Club.

Cape Waves had one of the biggest wins of the weekend, downing Hurricanes by 76-17 in the second last match of the day.

Hustlers and Delft’s Umoja concluded a good Sunday of basketball, with end to end action right from the beginning until the end. Hustlers walked away victors by four points in their 54-48 scoreline match.

The matches will continue on Sunday February 23. Crossroads will play against Pride Basketball Club at noon.

Hustlers will tackle Gladiators at 1pm, followed by a Cape Waves and Delft Umoja clash at 2pm.

The Cape Town Sharks females will be back in action against Khayelitsha Stars at 3pm, with Langa men’s team taking on Unity at 4pm.
