Fish Hoek FC's under-14s are currently on a five-day tour to Gauteng where they have been scheduled to play matches against Kaizer Chiefs, Saxonworld and Rietvlei Soccer school.
Manager and coach, Dale Butler, said the tour represents a huge opportunity for the development of young players, most of whom come from impoverished backgrounds.
He said the tour was put together in a relatively short while thanks to some generous sponsors and supporters, including the club's fundraising committee and parents of the players who ran various functions created to raise money, Wolfgang Linster from SAB Filtration Technology in Germany, Geraldine and Peter Stock and everyone who donated to their Back-a-Buddy campaign.
