Team South Africa, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Thailand battled for glory at the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey Under-18 World Championship Division III - Group B tournament, held at GrandWest, last week. Despite a surprise defeat against Thailand, New Zealand won gold, with wins against the hosts and Hong Kong. The tournament follows hot on the heels of last month’s women’s world championships. Next up, the senior men’s competition in April.
